Fosston is located in central Polk County along US Highway 2. Fosston is 44 miles east of Crookston and 46 miles northwest of Bemidji.
Climate:
Fosston much like our other northwest communities portrays mild summers and cold winters.
The average high temperature through out the summer 74 degrees; while the average low is 47 degrees.
The winter offers some cooler weather with average highs and lows of 18 and -5. The annual precipitation is about 25 inches.
